This privacy policy applies to www.3xequity.com owned and operated by 3xEquity, LLC (“3xEquity”, “we”, “us” and “our”) and to any online valuation system or tool provided by 3xEquity, either through www.3xequity.com or another website (“Online Services”). This privacy policy describes how 3xEquity collects and uses the personal information you provide to our Online Services. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.

Personal Information

We take financial privacy very seriously. During the course of processing your valuation, we accumulate non-public personal information from you which may include but are not limited to your name, phone number, and email address. We do not directly collect billing information such as credit card, please see below comments about our third party, Stripe.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and/or service providers who need to know that information to provide products or services to you which you have requested. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. However, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources:

1. information we receive from you on online forms;
2. information about your transactions with us, our affiliates (including our licensees), or others.

Unless we receive your advance permission, we do not disclose, share, sell, or rent any personally identifiable information (including your email address), or nonpublic information, about our customers or former customers to any third party, except as indicated in this privacy policy, or except as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

If 3xEquity is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in the licensees or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

3xEquity may also provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as sending you emails. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to help us provide our services to you.

Also, 3XEquity works with licensees, including Licensed Recruiters, who assist financial advisors in buying/selling businesses or portfolios, to help the Licensed Recruiters obtain benchmark valuations for financial advisors they are assisting. These Licensed Recruiters are under strict obligation to comply with the 3XEquity Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy in protecting your information, and 3xEquity may share any or all information you provide to the Online Services to a Licensed Recruiter you are working with, but only if you have accessed the Online Services through a user code provided by a Licensed Recruiter.

Stripe, Third Party E-Commerce Solutions Provider

Our shopping cart is hosted by our e-commerce solutions provider, Stripe. They host our ordering system, and collect billing information directly from you for the purpose of processing your order. This company does not use this information for any other purpose.

Access and Choice

If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our Online Services, you may correct, update, amend, delete or request for your information to no longer be used by emailing us at info@3xequity.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Online Services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, you may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by 3xEquity, LLC and our partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

The 3xEquity website, or other 3xEquity Online Services, contain, or may contain, links to websites created and maintained by other organizations. 3xEquity provides these links as a service to our users. When users link to an outside website, you are leaving the 3xEquity site and are subject to the privacy policies of the outside websites. Social Media

In addition to 3xEquity's official website on www.3xequity.com, 3xEquity uses social media and third party sites to provide 3xEquity content or Online Services in a different format that may be useful or interesting to you. 3xEquity includes Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn buttons and widgets or interactive mini-programs that run on our site or our other Online Services. These features may collect your IP address, which page your are visiting on our Online Services, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to work properly. Social Media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our site. Please be aware that the privacy protection provided on social media and third party sites that are not a part of the 3xEquity.com domain may not be the same as the privacy protection described here.

Changes to this policy

We will revise or update this policy if our practices change, or as we develop better ways to keep you informed about them.
